Mountain Man Memorial March

Be a part of the commemorative march that both challenges participants and pays tribute to all our armed services at the Mountain Man Memorial March. Growing bigger each year the Mountain Man Memorial March, offers a variety of team and individual events. This is a 26.2 mile march that begins in downtown Gatlinburg and traverses a variety of terrain including highways, country roads and rugged mountain scape. Entry categories in the Mountain Man Memorial March include both military and civilian, as well as run and march events. Run events include 26.2 mile marathon, 13.1 half marathon, a 10K run and a 5K run. March events have two distances 26.2 and 13.1 half marathon. Working in conjunction with the City of Gatlinburg and Sevier County Schools, this year’s races and pre/post race events will take place at the Pi Beta Phi Elementary School at 125 Cherokee Orchard Rd. in Gatlinburg.
