Christmas in the Village

Experience an Appalachian Christmas like the pioneers did at the Great Smoky Mountains Christmas in the Village event. The Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center is hosting four weekends of this event where visitors can walk through their Appalachian village decked out in traditional holiday decor. Living history interpreters will act as guides onsite and handcrafting demonstrations will take place. Guests can enjoy hot cider and make their own crafts to take home with them.
