THE VENUE
Book Bluff Mountain Inn and the whole five-acre estate is yours: the chapel, the gardens, the reception barn, the Bistro and both getting-ready lounges. Nothing on the property is shared with another event.
Indoor and outdoor spaces sit side by side on the same grounds, so the weather can change the plan without ever changing the venue.
Built in 2007 and modeled on the oldest church in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the chapel is a single room with a center aisle and pews brought from a West Virginia church and reupholstered. A photo of the Cades Cove Missionary Baptist Church hangs on the back wall.
A vintage mantel stands at the front between ironwork stained-glass replicas, and windows run down both sides onto the trees. It seats about 75, it is air-conditioned, and it is the ready-made backup if the sky turns on ceremony morning.
The chapel is for ceremonies only; the celebration moves to the barn or the Bistro afterward.
There is more than one place to say your vows outdoors. Flower gardens, open lawns and a white arbor at the end of a stone path each give you a different setting, all with the mountains close by.
Ceremony chairs are included, and arbors and additional décor can be arranged to suit the look you have in mind.
Twenty-four hundred square feet for dinner, toasts and dancing, with timber doors that open onto a flagstone patio.
Inside there is a prep-style serving station for your caterer, a stage for a DJ or live band, chandeliers, audio equipment, and heaters and ceiling fans for every season. Reception tables are included.
Dress it up with linens and candlelight or keep it relaxed and country. The room works either way.
For a smaller wedding of about fifty guests or fewer, the Bistro is the more intimate indoor room. It is climate-controlled, with large double doors that open onto a spacious deck surrounded by trees.
On a mild evening, open the doors and the deck becomes extra room for cocktails or dancing.
GETTING READY
Each side of the wedding party gets its own space to dress, settle in and stay out of the other side’s way until the ceremony.
A private suite with its own entrance and a row of makeup stations, so the bridal party can get ready together, in comfort and on schedule.
A bar area and a large TV, with the game room, pool table and arcade included, right next door for the hours before the ceremony.

With a chapel, a barn and the Bistro alongside the outdoor sites, there is a backup plan for almost any weather the Smokies bring.
