Pigeon Forge Snow
One of the newest attractions that brings winter inside all year long is the Pigeon Forge Snow Park. America’s first indoor snow park allows family and friends to frolic, tube, and build a snowman all year long. Featuring a huge hillside of snow tub runs and a snow play area, the magic and fun are endless!
The weather forecast on your Smoky Mountain Vacation doesn’t determine your fun. Pigeon Forge Snow offers a snow tube adventure for all ages year round. This indoor park uses real snow made from 100% pure water-no additives, so guests can experience the wonder of this white prescription.
Pigeon Forge Snow is the first of its kind. You can’t find another one like it. In fact, it is the first amusement to have snow indoors all year long in North America.
Even though guests get to experience a winter wonderland setting they don’t have to brave frigid temperatures. In fact, extra jackets aren’t even necessary as Pigeon Forge Snow remains a consistent warm temperature year-round. Not only do we provide the chance to play with snow all year long, we do it without making the customer freeze. The building is between 60-70 degrees, so you can be wearing shorts and a t-shirt and still have a great time.
Pigeon Forge Snow vision was born by considering the desires of visitors that travel to this region each year. Realizing that many people travel from near and far, many from southern regions that receive little snow. As owner Matthew Ayers explains, “The concept for Pigeon Forge Snow started with its customers. Every winter thousands of people come to the area in hopes to see snow. Some visitors have never seen it before. With such a high demand for snow, we started thinking about how it would be possible to provide that experience all year long.”
Pigeon Forge Snow offers fun for the whole family. As Ayers describes, “We want to have something for everyone. The main attraction is our massive snow tubing hill. A moving carpet takes you to the top and then you can slide down reaching speeds of almost 30 miles per hour. This is for all ages but you must be at least 38 inches tall. For the little ones, we also have a snow play room where snow is being blown out above you. You can build snowman, snow forts, or just roll around in it. This is for all ages. Lastly, if you don’t want to tube or play in the snow, you can always watch from our observation deck for free!”
Pigeon Forge snow offers daily specials on their website that makes their adventure even more enticing. For guests that choose to book the day of or online there are special discounts and last minute special deals. In addition, Pigeon Forge Snow is a great place to host all kinds of group events. From sports teams, church groups, birthday parties and even corporate events, groups of fifteen or more can contact Pigeon Forge Snow’s Group Event Specialist to organize and plan their custom event.
As Ayers concludes, “Pigeon Forge Snow is all about creating memories. From young to old, everyone has a great time at Pigeon Forge Snow.”
