A show so good that they have to hold it twice a year, the Gatlinburg Craftmen’s Fair will be from July 16th-24th this summer at the Gatlinburg Convention Center. Everything that you could hope for from a crafts show and more, everyone in the family will be able to find something to entertain them for a few hours.
To start, let’s talk about the music. Not only do you get to meet a host of famous artists in their natural habitat but do so while listening to the unique sounds of Dennis Lee and Band (July 16-20) and Keith Longbotham and band (July 21-24). These guys have toured the country although they are partial to their stomping grounds, the good ol’ South of America! Take a moment to cut a rug in between all of your shopping and browsing.
Open from 10 AM -6 PM Monday through Saturday, Sundays from 10 AM-5 PM, they will be at the convention center for nine full days of music, crafts, exhibits, shows, and classes. At just $6.00 for adults and children under twelve admitted for free, this is a fun and inexpensive way to spend a day of your vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains.
Are you a crafty fellow or gal yourself? You can try to find an extra booth space for this summer’s show or sign up for the fall show which will be held from October 7th to the 23rd; new exhibitors are always welcome. If you have any questions about how to access the Gatlinburg Convention Center from your luxury Gatlinburg Cabin Rental don’t hesitate to contact our main office staff; you might even see them shopping for their own families at the Craftsman’s Show this weekend!
