Eat For a Good Cause in Gatlinburg, TN

What is better than having a great time to support a worthy cause? We can’t think of anything! Join Gatlinburg locals this September 23rd, 2010 as they celebrate the annual Taste of Autumn, an event held each year to support the United Way of Gatlinburg. This agency supports the local community all year long by providing help for children and seniors in need, as well as giving funding to non-profit health and human services agencies nearby. Even if you aren’t a resident of Gatlinburg you can enjoy all of the amazing food that will be provided at the event and leave knowing that you made a difference for this mountain community. The event is just a short drive from Elk Springs Resort Gatlinburg Cabin Rentals.
In addition, there will be live music featuring the Temptations Revue with a Tribute by Nate Evans. Housed in the easy-to-access Gatlinburg Convention Center, this event has been running for 13 years already and continues to grow with each passing one due to local demand. Gather with your new friends on the first official day of autumn to celebrate the changing of the seasons in one of the most beautiful locations in the southeast. Sample food from most of the areas restaurants which offer a tasty mix of what the locals love to eat, which will quickly become some of your favorite items as well!

At just $25 a ticket, you are getting an absolute steal; children under seven are free of charge. You can order online through the United Way website (via Paypal) or buy tickets at the door; however, as this is such a popular event, it is best to purchase your tickets in advance in case they sell out. If you like to eat, like to cook, or just like to have a good time, take a short drive from your luxury cabin rental to this downtown venue for a rip-roaring good time. The best part is…100 percent of the proceeds go to support the United Way.
