It begins November 5 through February 28.┬á People of all ages can be entranced at the traditional mountain scenes, the colorful and magnificent winter displays, the playful teddy bears and other familiar, much┬áloved displays both downtown and along Hwy.321 which has been making├é┬áGatlinburg a must see destination for generations and everyone always enjoys├é┬áthemselves regardless of age.
Across from the Parkway is the River Road, which will feature a magical├é┬átouch along the popular Riverwalk area, the romantic arched walkway will┬ábe enhanced by a pair of eloquent 40 foot swans and several ornate floral┬áso the mood will be set for all ages.
┬áWinter Magic Tunes & Tales will begin during the holiday season, where┬áeveryone can meet characters and storytellers and enjoy the caroling┬áand all the entertainment along the Parkway weekend evenings.
There will be seven quartets of holiday carolers dressed in traditional┬áVictorian era costumes that will roam the streets of Gatlinburg on Friday┬á and Saturday evenings from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. through December 20. The┬ácarolers will be bring holiday cheer throughout the city by horse drawn wagons┬áand carriages and sing acapella classics of the season.
While the magical Friday and Saturday nights of Winter Magic Tunes & Tales, Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be at the Riverbend mall so that all the children┬ácan meet Santa. Also Zeno the Gatlinburg Bear has decided to skip hibernation┬áthis year to make an appearance and greet holiday visitors on the streets.
Friday nights on the Parkway they will have a Yule Log fireside sing-along├é┬áfor the whole family to get together and sing their favorite holiday season songs.
