The Holly and Shamrock Parade will get us going on March 13th through the streets of downtown Gatlinburg. The Santa convention will also be in full swing at the Gatlinburg Convention Center.
Other activities that are just around the corner are “Gatlinburg Screenfest”, which features independant filmmakers from all over the world. There will be screenings of last years winner and new films for this year. Advanced tickets can be purchased online.
We also have the “Arts and Crafts” Community Show which begins on March 31st.┬á Located on an eight-mile loop at the northeast edge of Gatlinburg, the Community proudly preserves the craft heritage of the Great Smoky Mountains year-round.┬á This area offers you the best in a wide range of craft shops, including pottery, woodcarving, candlemaking, quilting, weaving, broommaking, and painting, among many other fine art forms. There is never a fee to stop and look!┬á┬á Elk Springs Resort Luxury Gatlinburg Cabins is located in the Arts and Crafts community.
This weekend will be a great time to take in the beauty of our Great Smoky Mountain National Park.  We have snow capped mountains and bright sunshine so get out of your cabin and hit the trails! There are several trails to choose from which range from intermediate to advanced hikers. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy all the park has to offer! You can get all the information you need from the Sugarlands Visitor Center just inside the Park. We look forward to your visit to Gatlinburg!
