Downtown Gatlinburg

Sure, Gatlinburg is a quaint mountain town tucked away in the Great Smoky Mountains. However, you may be surprised to hear that we offer some of the best shopping in the southeast. That’s right, when it comes to shopping, the locals know a thing or two about finding good deals and getting the most for our money. If you enjoy shopping as much as we do, strap on your sneakers, pack your best credit card and drink a big cup of coffee, because you have a long day ahead of you!

To begin, you will want to tackle the Parkway, the main street of Gatlinburg which is just 8 minutes from our Gatlinburg Cabins.  No matter what season it is, you will finds scores of people walking along the Parkway with big smiles on their faces. Whether you are searching for some authentic cowboy boots (try the Cowboy Way at 616 Parkway), artwork (Thomas Kinkade at the Village Shops), or some delicious treats (we love the Honey Pot!), you can find some interesting and unique pieces in Gatlinburg.

When you have tackled the Parkway – it could easily take all day – you can spend the next day perusing the Tanger Outlet in nearby Seiverville. With dozens of stores to choose from, everyone in your family will be able to find something (if not two or three things!) to bring home with them. Shop your favorite stores – like Tommy Hilfiger, Le Gourmet Chef and the Disney Store – to find the best deals in Gatlinburg. If you want to get away from the mainstream and purchase something uniquely Gatlinburg, head on over to the Arts & Crafts Community Trail.

Located at traffic light #3 in downtown Gatlinburg, this eight-mile loop contains over 120 shops selling artist-made creations. From silver to woodworking, crochet to pottery, there is something to please everyone. This is a great place to snatch up souvenirs for all of your friends and family back home, but don’t forget to pick up something special for yourself! So when staying in one of our Gatlinburg cabin rentals, don’t forget that there are plenty of places to stop and eat, drink and be merry, so save an extra day for the Arts & Crafts Community.

If you need directions to any of the places mentioned above from our Gatlinburg Cabin Rentals, don’t hesitate to contact us at the main office. We would be happy to recommend our own favorite shops as well.
