No matter what kind of camera you own – a digital camera, a DSLR or even a disposable camera – you simply cannot take a bad picture from the deck of an Elk Springs Resort cabin. Nestled deep in the mountains you will love the gorgeous vistas that accompany every cabin at our resort. You can wake up early to capture the birds twittering away on a snow-laden branch, snap shots of your kids building a snowman or grab a few in the kitchen as your sweetheart whips up a giant pot of chili for a cold winter day.
While you could get endless shots at Elk Springs Resort Gatlinburg Cabins alone it would be a shame to miss the natural beauty that nearby Great Smoky Mountain National Park offers. Bundle up tight and bring everyone along for a hike on one of the dozens of trails that are accessible even during the colder months of the year. Check with a park ranger first to see which ones have been experiencing more animal activity recently to get some amazing shots of wildlife. Hike all the way up to see neighboring mountains and towns, a waterfall and dozens of other sights that the park is famous for.
If hiking isn’t your favorite activity then head on down to the Parkway where plenty of shops, restaurants and other amusements await. This quaint mountain town is full of picture-worthy moments just waiting to be snapped up by your camera. If you need batteries or want to check out some new equipment you can always pop into Gatlinburg Camera at 1100 Parkway Suite C. Want to get some inspiration? Stop by Gatlinburg’s Arts and Crafts Community on Glades Road to see what local photographers have been taking pictures of recently.
Whether you are a professional photographer or just love taking shots of your family and friends, you will walk away from your vacation refreshed and with a memory card jam-packed of invaluable memories of your stay at the Elk Springs Resort.
