If you have some free time and some cash to spare, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies located in Gatlinburg is holding its second annual “Pirates Ball” tonight March 11th, to benefit Mtn Hope Good Shepard Clinic. Tickets are $60.00 per person or $100.00 a couple and can be purchased by contacting Elaine at 865-774-7684. Come dressed in your favorite pirate attire, wenches and leprechans also welcome! It will be a great time for all and all proceeds goes to a great cause.
On a comfier note- Mountain Quilfest is in full swing at the Music Road Hotel and Convention Center in Pigeon Forge. The show runs from March 10th-14th. They offer classes and contests with over $20,000 in prizes.and don’t forget…..Santa Claus is coming to town! This weekend for the St. Patrick meets St. Nick Parade!
