Another happy guest decided to switch from her regular resort in the Smokies to the Elk Springs Resort, and after a fantastic stay, told us that “we will be back!” We love having repeat guests stay at our resort, as it allows us to continue proving ourselves to you, the guests, as well as take helpful suggestions to make each stay more amazing than the next.

By listening to the needs of our guests, as well as anticipating them, our staff works hard to ensure that each and every day of your vacation is a memorable one. The Talbert Family from Charlotte, NC took note of our suggestion to bring foil and seasonings to the cabin, which allowed them to grill out every night at “Finders Keepers.” We were so happy when she wrote to say that “I will tell everyone I know about this wonderful place!”

Another family that regularly visits the Gatlinburg area had heard about the resort and decided to give us a try. They sure were happy that they did! After giving us a thumbs up for cleanliness and professionalism, the went on to say that the “major positive [of Creeksong] was the setting, which was very beautiful…sitting on the deck listening to [the creek's] song was very soothing.”

Many of our guests come to us to celebrate a special occasion, such as a honeymoon. One recently married couple wrote to say that “being able to enjoy the scenery from the hot tub made me wonder if I hadn’t died and gone to heaven!” Now that is a compliment we certainly don’t mind sharing from time to time.

Even though many of our guests find themselves returning to the same cabin year after year, you can easily find several cabins to call your favorite. This Fall the Craftmen’s Fair returns to the Great Smoky Mountains.  From October 9th to the 26th, over 200 artisans and craftspeople will be hosting their wares at the Gatlinburg Convention Center.  The event will also feature several live country and bluegrass shows.

We’re starting to see some of the leaves changing color.  It’s still too early to say the fall colors have officially started, but we’ll know more in a few weeks.  Here is a live shot of the great smoky mountains from our live Gatlinburg webcam mounted atop “Almost Heaven“.

Elk Springs Resort is currently live with the most recent webcam from the Great Smoky Mountains.  The webcam is mounted atop “Almost Heaven“, a 4 bedroom 4.5 bath with theater room and sauna.  The camera looks out upon Mt. LeConte – Elevation 6,593 Feet.

It can be a little hazy depending on the location to the mountains, sun position and temperature.  The camera will be dark at night with the exception of one gas street light on Elk Springs Way.
